We have served the best steaks since opening the very first Block House Restaurant – always tender and juicy. The Block House Butchery has guaranteed consistently high quality since 1973. Only after strict controls does the meat get to the market and on the plates of the guests in our restaurants.
Steaks from all over the world
Our Angus and Hereford cattle and their crosses come mainly from Argentina and Uruguay. There they grow up in juicy meadows in a natural, ethical animal farming process. Our partner farmers meet the highest standards of hygiene. The production carried out for us is supervised on site by our own employees. The meat is subject to an ideal ageing process during the several week crossing from the land of its origins to us in Hamburg. Our master butchers check each individual product before dispatch.
Regional beef is close to our hearts
Beef from our German heifers has been a fixed part of our range for more than 20 years. In order to ensure an overall, long-term supply in the future, too, we offer you beef from our own breeding programme in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern and Black Angus meat from our cooperation with breeders in the Transylvanian region of Romania. Our steak experts guarantee master processing with proper ageing and our own butchering.
